Hi friends,

 

as usual i am very, very, very late to set my ireland photos online. But these times i often feel so tired and so i am very lazy after my job.

 

But now to the trip:

Patrick and I went to ireland during the easter festival, umm it was on somedays in April, to visit my cousine. She lives and works there. We have had a lot of luck coz most of the time we spent there the sun was shining most of the time. This is not typical for Ireland.

I really enjoyed the time there. It was interesting and relaxing.

So, now to the photos.

At first you can see the castle of malahide and the beach of malahide. Malahide is a suburb of Dublin and the place where my cousine lives.

On the photo of newgrandge you can see an ancient celtic temple.

And you can see a part of Dublin's castle and the trinity college in Dublin.

 

Oh and one day we drove to a special road called "magic road" its near to the border to northern ireland. The strange thing, on a part of that magic road tins, bottles and cars are rolling up the hill instead of rolling down. Very stragen, especially if the car roll up the hill and you sit into the car. Quite mysterious thing.

Hi to everybody.

 

I know its really late but i added the first photos from Shanghai now. Next days i will put some more online.

While i was preparing the photos for putting them online i recognized again how much i miss that place and my friends there.

But now its time to share the photos (i know normally it was time to do it much more earlier, but in last times i was so lazy...felt so empty...whatever now they are online).

Poorly the photos can't show all the impressing scenes and even not the happenings but i hope you all will like them very much.

Oh and next days i will add some more.

 

Oh one more thing i have to tell. Today my chinese class at the people high school started. Its just a class for learning some basics but i guess it will be very useful for my next trip to china.

And indeed it was really funny there to see that i am not the only one who have the problems with the pronouncation and the 4 tunes lol.

now it's one week ago since i've come back to germany.

But it seems that i left a small part of myself in shanghai. I feel a kind of lack of something. I remember that Nan told me some months ago "Dennis Shanghai will change you" and i think he is right i feel a change but it's not clear now what it is.

The time i spent in Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou and Hangzhou was a very great experience and that is something what i will never forget.

I will never forget the city shanghai itself, i will never forget the chiense food (indeed the food in here bores me a little now....ahh i want to eat some lotus roots now 555) and the most important thing is that i'll miss my friends for sure.

 

So what i want to say is a big thank you to all my friends in and around shanghai for supporting and helping me....and for making this holiday to the best holiday i've ever had.

And thanks to all for sharing the time with me.

 

So i'm looking forward to my next trip to china and i hope that i can meet all of my friends again.

Ohhh hi friends,

just 9 days, just 9 days, just 9 days, just 9 days....and so much to do before...so much i must buy before. In this moment i am not nevous because of the trip itself...just nervous of the things i have to do before haha. And time is going by so fast this times....ok one hand i am really happy cause so the trip will be more soon. Hmm hope i will not forget some important things.

But for sure i look so much forward now to see Shanghai and all my friends there and around there too.

 

Oh, if anyone has some good advice about things i should not forget...or others. All kind of advices would be welcome.

I know its late but in germany we say: better later then never hehe. So i want to show the photos of my nice trip to cologne where i met one of my chatfriends. He was a good guide so i saw much there and spend a nice day in this city.

At first we visited the cathedral of cologne. This is one of the hugest and well known cathedrals in Germany. I took some photos of the interior and show them in my album beside here.

Then i was shown the nice inner city with much big stores for shopping. Then we had a very tasty supper ;)

After this it was time to visit the choclate museum. There was shown the history of chocolate and there was a production as well....and a well of choclate to try the tasty product hehe. Oh and a planthouse to show the visitor how kakao beans are growing.

Then after a walk along the rhine (river trough the city) and a supper it was time for me to go home.

What a nice town i really look forward to my next visit there.

on decembre the 6 th is Nikolaus day in Germany. Hmm how to explain.....maybe try to imagine as a small christmas festival. You get some small presents from your family and give them some back. And having dinner with family.

But in my hometown Mülheim there is a special market on Nikolaus day. And its just on this day every year...very well known here. And as usual in my hometown if something like this happen here the whole town will visit it so this market is very good for meeting some old friends, relatives and former classmates.

So I went there with some friends. And we tasted some glow wine (its a hot wine) and watched the market....ummm after some of this wines we started to sing christmas songs lol. By the way....we were the only singing people there. But we found some fans taking photos and giving us a tip (maybe the tip was for stop singing....i dunno lol) When we found a small band palying some instruments we asked them to play a christmas song and we sang or try to sang with the music (i think it was more try to sing....remember the mentioned glow wine hehe).

Whatever it was a very funny and happy day and i look forward to the next nikolaus market.

i am glad to tell you that the hotel confirmed a room for me. So i went to the citizens office and took my travel passport there and to travel agency to complete the booking of the trip and buy an insurance for the travel. So everything is clear now. I just need the visa but this i can get at the beginning of next year earliest.

So i only can wait and look forward to this trip and the chance to meet my friends from so far away. And of course i can think about plans what can i do in shanghai when i will arrive.

So i hope of some ideas from my friends too.

today i went to travel agency and booked the flight and the hotel. But as usualy in here nothing is so easy. Cause i have to wait 2 or 3 days for the confirmation of the hotel. So i hope they will have a free room for me or i have to choose an other hotel. But this will take more time....so i hope for the free room at the first hotel....pls, pls, pls, pls, pls.

So i hope i can tell some more and good news on Friday at least.

you know its my holiday time so i thought "Hey Dennis tome to clean aquarium filter" oh and it was time to do it cause the output was not very impressing. So i cleaned the filter and was very happy how quick everything works. After cleaning i connected it with the hoses at the aquarium and switched on the filter the water output was not more impressing as before....very strange....ohhhh very nice water output....but on the side of the filter....AHHHH...shit, shit, little indoor flood.

So it was time to buy a new one. Ok about 8 years are enough for such a machine i think.

Hmmm very quick action now it needed around 4 hours....very nice day.

But now have new and better filter machine.

ohhh no i got a cold...next week i will have holiday an now got a cold?? What shall that? Dont want be ill at holiday.

So now let me come to the really big good thing what happened.

My personnel manager told me that my boss agreed to my holiday on february.....i am so happy.

So now its time for doing concrete plans.

in here are some news...cause i am on the news....ok ok just in a local newspaper lol. Its because the price i got and i told before. I just wanna show it to you. Pls dont thing that i am conceited or so. Just happy ;) cause as you all can imagine i am not really often in the newspaper.

 

Oh and i bought an online game today. Its Guild Wars Factions. Do someon know or play it??? If yes pls tell me.

And next week i have holiday....many time for myself and my friends....so i hope to see you all online next week.

today was really a nice and interesting day for me.

You know that i passed my graduation examen of my job training in january 2006. And the 10 best graduants of the chamber of commerces region i belong to got a honouring. And i really got one too....i am really happy...lol. And at first i thought all of the people there learned the same job as I but there were only 2 persons learned Industriekaufmann (i think the right translation of my job is: industrial mangaer....it sounds good but its just a normal office worker job. Dont be irritated of the word manager lol). So i was the second best graduant of my kind of job in the cities Mülheim, Essen, Oberhausen *g*

I got a document and a check for 300€ and an economy book.

After this event i had supper (pizza hehe) with a former class mate....he was the other graduant who got the price too.

After having supper i went home and a friend came upstairs for playing a pc game via network.

 

What a nice day!!! ;)

Today i went to the neighbourcity Essen for having a first aid course.

This course was paied by the company i worked for and so i visited it instead of working today.

It was very interesting to refresh the knowledge how you can help injured people...very useful i think.

But i really hope that its never necessary for me to use this knowledge...i think you know what i mean.

 

Thats all for today...now i just can tell that i enjoy for tomorrow...it will be an interesting day i think.

...the first step is done today i went to residents registration office and enquire for my travel passport. I will get in around 4 weeks....i think all of you can guess for which travel i need this travel passport ;)

today i cut the plants in my aquarium...it was like a under water jungle haha but now its better i can see my fishes again so many i have haha.

I think now its look better. I hope this entry is interesting.

So what can i say more.....ah yes i bought a scanner-printer yesterday for my computer. Thats all news.

Hey people,

 

today i went to the city Münster with one of my friends. We went by train and after 90 minutes we reached our destination....Münster.

A very nice city with many old buildings, many churches and an old city center.

As well we visited the cathedral in Münster. In this cathedral there is a very strange and big clock. Its an astrological clock with shows the time the zodiac sign and much more.

Hey best thing, if you are interested in Münster, look at the pictures i took there. Oh i am sorry there are no photos of the inner of the cathedral....its forbidden to take photos.
